Why Beechpoint is special…
From forest to shoreline, Beechpoint’s 83 acres offer splendid moments of beauty and endless hours of recreation. Each activity is well planned and safely supervised to help the camper learn social, mental and spiritual lessons, along with the physical.
Founded in 1959, Beechpoint continues to provide quality programming, caring staff, and great home-style meals for your camping experience.
Along with the exciting and new adventures each camper has, we feel that the real value comes from what is built on their understanding of God, and their personal relationship with Him. That is what lasts! Therefore, counselors are carefully chosen and prepared to guide their cabin and campers through each activity and every teachable moment.
Through this training, it is our desire that each child will learn to “…follow the truth at all times - speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly, and so become more in every way like Christ…” –Ephesians 4:15 (Living Bible)

Discipleship
The learning opportunities do not stop after a week of camp. Children who desire to grow in their relationship with Christ have the opportunity to enroll in Partners in Discipleship. This program keeps contact with them through the year and gives them guided opportunities to grow in various Christian disciplines.
Counselors
Every counselor is carefully screened regarding Christian commitment and general manner of life. Each attends pre-camp and on-going training sessions and is paired with another college-aged adult to maintain a 1:5 counselor to camper ratio.
Facilities
Beechpoint offers a scenic setting for four season weekend retreats, and summer camps. The lodge, cabins, and spacious meeting rooms, all share a great view of the lake and adjoining woods. A high-school sized gym, complete with hardwood floor and climbing wall, adds a great dimension for quality athletic recreation.
For team growth and leadership development, a challenge course is available to retreat and day-groups for a facilitated experience. Contact us for more information.
Sponsorship
Camp Beechpoint, Inc. is an outreach ministry of Chicago Child Evangelism Fellowship.
