Leadership Training
Summer Staff Opportunities
Leadership Training
This program is designed to help young people (age 14 to 17) learn leadership and to give them an entry point into a lifetime of leading and giving through service. It is a pre-requisite for those who hope to be junior staff members at Beechpoint. The program includes formal training, guided experience, and service opportunities.
Our purpose is to share the saving grace of Jesus Christ with boys and girls and to aid in drawing them to the foot of the cross. We also focus on nurturing the growth of young believers through the ministry of a caring, loving, committed staff, a fun-filled program, a spiritual emphasis, which underlies every activity, and a year-round discipling program. Camp Beechpoint is for children ages 8-13. Camp starts on the third week of June and ends the first week of August. There are seven consecutive sessions, each beginning Sunday afternoon and ending Friday after supper. Beechpoint is located 150 miles northeast of Chicago in Allegan, Michigan. Activities include archery, riflery, crafts, swimming, canoing, paddle boating, dinner cruises, “big banana” rides, go-carts, hiking, ball games, BMX bikes, cook-outs, missionary times, firesides, Bible exploration, and lots of fun (for the kids!).
